The following Scholarship Funds honoring HHS '61 classmates have been established by their families:

• Russell H. Arkell Scholarship Fund 

• First Lieutenant Curtis E. Chase Memorial Scholarship Fund

These funds are part of Hingham’s overall Scholarship Fund established in 1975.  The Town annually awards 5% of the Fund’s average 3-year assets to HHS graduating seniors.

You may contribute to either of these funds by check made out to “The Town of Hingham Scholarship Fund”, with a notation of either the “Russell Arkell Scholarship Fund” or the “First Lt Curtis Chase Scholarship Fund”.  The Town will provide written acknowledgement for donations of $250 or more, as required by the IRS.

Donations should be mailed to the Tax Collector, Town of Hingham, 210 Central Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
