Torrey Goodin

GOODIN, Torrey Frederick - Age 71, of Scottsdale Arizona passed away on December 25, 2013 after a long and lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Memorial Services are to be held in Fremont Nebraska, USA and in Scotstown, Quebec Canada. In memoriam please have donations made to the MS Society and a living tree will be planted in memory of Torrey Goodin. Torrey Goodin was born in Sweetsburg, Quebec Canada on July 12 1942, son of Angus Milton Goodin and Marjorie Beatrice Goodin (McCrum) of Scotstown Quebec, Canada and survived by his sibling brothers Peter Goodin and wife Christine Goodin (Matton) and Larry Goodin and wife Valerie Goodin (St. Laurent) and sister Nancy Goodin (Walker) and husband Floyd Walker. Loving husband to Lois Lillian Goodin (Barnes) who predeceased him in April 24,1979, daughter of Waldo and Lillian Barnes of Fremont Nebraska USA. Father to Shawn Jacobs (Goodin) and husband Jack Lee Jacobs and Grandfather to Chelsea, Ashley and Shelby Munnerlyn, Torrey Jacobs, and Great-Grandfather to Madalynn Lois Andersen. Father to Lee Frederick Goodin and wife Gina Goodin (Skentzos), Grandfather to Sophia Lois Goodin. Uncle to Mike, Angela and Kym Goodin, Trisha Lindsay (Goodin) and Julia Campbell (Goodin), and Chris and Scott Walker. Torrey Goodin moved to the United States and served in the U.S. Airforce between l964-1967. He resided and raised his family in Fremont Nebraska USA where he worked at Hormels. He returned to Scotstown Quebec Canada in 1984 where he was a truck driver for Cascades. He then later moved to Scottsdale Arizona USA where he resided and continued his love and passion of driving for his remaining years. Your courage and strength will never be forgotten.
